La Grande Soeur Ginestet & Pouillon 131 drypoint, 1904, on medium-weight cream laid paper with the "Arches" watermark, a very fine impression, with rich burr, and with selectively wiped plate tone setting off the younger sister, the rare 1st state (of 2), before the coloured version, with full deckle-edged margins, signed lower right in pencil, and numbered "8/15" lower left, two very short tears in right margin (less than 1 cm), otherwise in excellent condition P. 399x317mm., S. 608x440mm.

This moving print represents the artist's two sisters, Yvonne and Madeleine, in an intimate scene of consolate tenderness.

The second state in colour exists in only a few impressions, making this a relatively rare print.
